Biden has cancelled his Chicago trip as Dems struggle to push through massive dueling bills

Bills that now include the likes of raising the U.S debt ceiling among other critical pieces of legislation that keep America open for business. Republicans however have made such even more difficult than it should be in turn causing Biden to stay in Washington. According to reports, the White House has announced that Biden will not actually go to Chicago but instead will focus on drawing in troubled Senators who are more worried about their image than helping their constituents.

According to CNN, the new moves are being focused on bridging the gap between Senators who see that America needs change and those that instead aren’t doing much of anything for anyone other than themselves.

“In meetings and calls over the weekend and through today, President Biden has been engaging with members of Congress on the path forward for the Build Back Better Act and the Bipartisan Infrastructure Deal. He will now remain at the White House tomorrow to continue working on advancing these two pieces of legislation to create jobs, grow the economy, and make investments in families, rather than failed giveaways to the rich and big corporations,” a White House official said.

If no deal is reached the government shuts down at 12:01 am on Thursday.
