Moring Mix: RHOBH star still under investigation; Girardi ‘s noteworthy fall from grace, and the latest on Afghanistan

Today ‘s morning mix for Tuesday 24 August 2021 is brought to you by Rian Out Loud an American podcast hosted by our in-house talent.

  1. Tom Giardi ‘s epic downfall is truly one for the books

From a lavish lifestlye and a mansion that was once on the market for $13m to a miniscule retirement home — Girardi ‘s fall from Beverly Hills showstopper to broke is one for the books. Despite his many reported health claims, Girardi is set to remain under investigation for the crimes he committed allegedly before any healthcare scares may have set in .

2. The situation in Afghanistan is down to the hour(s) not the days.

Despite pleas from the Americans that the American military will be able to extend its deadline in Afghanistan that is not actually true. Taliban ‘s media spokesperson confirmed over the weekend that the American troopers and their allies are not welcome in the emirate after 31 January (that is reportedly what the Taliban is calling Afghanistan now.)

Conflicting reports have also emerged about how exactly the Taliban is responding to situations like women; young girls, and free and equitable access to society regardless of one’s gender.

3. Kamala Harris, madame Vice President, is due in Vietnam this week.

According to the VP ‘s schedule, the troubled American VP is headed to Hanoi Vietnam this week to discuss bilateral things and security services in the country. Though she will also visit Vietnam to discuss COVID-19 measures and local regulations in the fight against the virus. The travel date comes as Harris has had a troubled past few weeks in the polls and with the general public. She was most recently seen laughing on camera when in fact she shouldn’t have done so.

4. The World Health Organisation is making waves again with a recommendation that isn’t sitting well with some.

Not sitting well in part because some have made it clear that they aren’t getting the COVID-19 vaccine no matter what is done for them or to entice them. This fact makes it clearly disturbing that the World Health Organisation is now suggesting that access to booster shots be withheld until other countries who may not have enough COVID resources right at this present moment. The WHO did not actually respond it appears to some of the criticism from people who reminded the organisation that some just simply are anti-vax.

5. T-Mobile is still making headlines over the fact that it was hacked and that it didn’t tell anyone until after it happened.

Chances are if you got this text you probably are among those who were affected by the recently reported and surfaced data breach over at T-Mobile. This is important because this is a service that is connected to your mobile device which therefore contains an ungodly amount of personal things about oneself. Users of T-Mobile are advised to call into customer support to speak to someone about McAfee ‘s identity service or are advised to activate their own. It is unclear what T-Mobile intends to do for those who were actual victims of theft after the non-consensual release of their data.

6. It’s full speed ahead for Pfizer in the United States

Right now the vaccine made by Pfizer is absolutely fully approved by the FDA. Contrary to what one may read, the vaccine is important and does do its best to prevent serious responses from people in relation to the COVID-19 Delta variant of the pandemic.

7. A judge has rejected Chadwick Boseman’s widow’s request for reimbursement coins.

According to court documents obtained by The Daily News, Boseman’s widow Taylor had asked the court to approve a payment of $71k to her for reimbursement related to what were the costs of burying the beloved actor. She was also asking for reimbursement of what she had paid for the crypt that holds Bosemans’ remains. That request was formally denied and now Taylor must again go through the estate.

It appears that Taylor did not submit the claimant and payment proof information that the court had actually requested.
