DaBaby has been dropped by Lollapalooza and New York ‘s Governors Ball

But the fallout is massive and expands further beyond just those two festivals. This week American rapper DaBaby is learning just how much his actions will continue to cost him. On Sunday night, it emerged that DaBaby was formally dropped from Lolapalooza over his homophobic comments made in regards to AIDS/STDs during an appearance at the Rolling Loud festival.

Now its New York ‘s Governors Ball next. Organisers of the staple-event in New York confirmed on Monday morning that the rapper had also been dropped from their lineup following his comments. Most companies who are dropping the outspoken and homophobic musician are all chiming the same sentiment about his comments.

On the West Coast, meanwhile, DaBaby has been dropped from a Day N’ Vegas festival which is set to take place later this fall. That festival cited the same concerns about LGBTQ+ acceptance and equality when confirming the move.

The fallout is expected to continue as the days go on as it is taking brands several days to determine their next moves according to several people close to some of DaBaby ‘s sponsors.
