A shocking Politico report out this week paints a picture of an office for the Vice President that allegedly doesn’t know how to treat people. According to the scathing report, it paints a picture of VP Harris and her top official Chief of Staff Tina Flournoy as people who quite frankly just don’t get on very well.
Harris’ team is experiencing low morale, porous lines of communication, and diminished trust among aides and senior officials,” per the story. Tina and Harris get along at times though the blame appears to be shifted towards both according to at least 22 different staffers former and current who have spoken to the American political magazine for this story.
“People are thrown under the bus from the very top, there are short fuses and it’s an abusive environment. It’s not a healthy environment and people often feel mistreated. It’s not a place where people feel supported but a place where people feel treated like s—.”
The same report goes on in great detail how Flournoy has been intentionally cutting off top donors’ access to Harris though that might not seem like such a bad thing. Money should not play a part in legislation and or politics in modern America.
