BBC stars received paycuts across the board but questions mount as to why two men did not

The BBC is quite the money making machine for its stars and top talent. In a new series of articles, it has been revealed that its biggest performers are quite the magnificent earners — but though not everyone is taking home insane paydays at the hands of their broadcasting overlords.

• Gary Lineker is still the BBC ‘s highest earning on-air talent taking home between £1,360,000 and £1,364,999
• Radio 2 presenter Zoe Ball comes in second with a £1,130,000 to £1,134,999 salary between 2020 and 2021.

The Mail Online took a closer at figures and revealed that several took major cuts but the top 10 took home some of the monster paydays. Figures like Zoe Ball actually asked for a reduction in pay during their most recent contractual negotiations.
