The royals may have a dramatic new life ahead once the Queen passes away

With the inevitable passing of Queen Elizabeth II (eventually) plans are being made about the future of the Monarchy and the many palaces they presently occupy. According to reports (here), Prince Charles is indeed fairly keen to open up many of the palaces grounds (including Sandringham; Windsor, and Buckingham) to the public. By 2027, a previously massive renovation is set to be complete .

The change would be dramatic for the royal family. Charles also wants to reportedly open up the grounds of Clarence House (his private posh pad he shares with the betrothed Duchess of Cornwall.) Many of the palace grounds are already preparing for their usual summer openings and such now that things are re-opening.
