The unnecessary war between Gaza (“Hamas”) and Israel continues today. According to CNN, the death toll is rising at alarming rates amid reports that Israel is illegally targeting residential buildings and media outlets in their quest to quash the so-called terrorist organisation.

(Legally (“Hamas”) has been declared a terrorist organisation by dozens of countries.)

But the problems on that front are razor thin in comparison to the sheer destruction Israel is mounting against the Gaza strip and it is costing people their lives. CNN notes that contrary to Israel ‘s claims it does appear that Israel is intentionally targeting certain areas whilst leading a misinformation campaign to trick “Hamas” militants into going into certain buildings.

The latest attack appears to have been on the home of Yahya Sinwar, Hamas’ leader whose status is currently unknown.

Because of the graphic nature of the images we can’t show them here but you can view them here. Official numbers place the death toll as of Sunday afternoon just north of 181 and climbing with at least 50 of those being young children.

The UN ‘s Sec General has since warned the public that violations of international law are taking place in Israel and likely will have to be addressed once the violence has stopped.
