Lines out the door: Gas shortages are appearing in affected parts of the U.S, here’s what you need to know

Gas stations across some of the eastern seaboard in the United States have now either shut their doors or entirely run out of gas all together. According to the latest media reports, at least 17 places have all issued some form of emergency orders as gas stations have now had to resort to rationing gas depending on where one actually goes.

Here’s what we know so far across much of the eastern seaboard and beyond as the pipeline runs clear into Texas according to Colonial Pipeline.

North Carolina has declared a state of emergency over the gas shortages. The Governors office is warning people that they should remain home if they don’t absolutely need gas in their cars.

It is unclear when the gas pipeline will be back online as Colonial Pipeline is not saying much as of this writing.
