America ‘s reign of terror in Afghanistan is finally ending

America ‘s self-prescribed war on terror is finally coming to an end. As Biden already previously announced, the last remaining troops in Afghanistan are set to begin the transition home. America invaded Afghanistan more than 20 years ago under the premise of terrorism though many questioned the authority in which they had to do so in the first place.

1 May is actually the deadline to begin the withdrawal.

The transition is expected to take several months and likely will include placing troops in other places opening the door for America to meddle once again. Biden previously noted that the threat of war actually ended a decade ago — but the U.S has failed to actually explain why troops then remained.

Thousands of American soldiers; NATO allies, military contractors, and even hundreds of Afghan locals have lost their lives due to the 20 year American invasion. With the pending withdrawal, at best, America owes the Afghan people an apology.
