Turns out Derek Chauvin ‘s fate is likely sealed. On Friday morning, it was formally announced that Derek Chauvin and the remaining officers that murdered George Floyd have all been indicted on federal charges. Those charges range mostly surround the idea that they violated his civil rights.
Specifically Chauvin, Thao, and Kueng are charged with unreasonable seizure and excessive force. All four officers have been federally charged over their failure to seek and help provide Floyd adequate medical care essentially sealing his fate.
Killer cop Chauvin has also been charged in connection to a 2017 arrest where he treated a 17-year-old boy to the same neck restraint that killed George Floyd.
