Trump crony and overall crazy-guy Roger Stone is back in the headlines once again. Despite his attempts to appear as a victim of the deep-state, Stone is now the subject of a DOJ lawsuit in Florida which revealed he owes more than $2m in taxes.
That’s right.
The lawsuit shows that dating back to 2007 Stone hasn’t really paid much in taxes at all. That didn’t stop him from living the high life whilst underpaying his taxes by about $1.6 for a period of at least four years. And then in 2018, Stone reportedly filed separately from his wife in a bid to pay less in taxes.
Fast forward to 2019 and then came the condo. The DOJ discovered that year that Stone stopped making his $20,000 tax payments and instead bought a condo in Florida. NBC News reports that Stone on brand for himself maintains that he is a victim of Democratic led witch hunts and intends to fight the bill.
