Laughably of course that is if the deep state is actually a cabal of undercover authorities and witnesses taking down sex trafficking rings. As the Gaetz investigation heated up over the weekend, the embattles Congressman claimed that alike his GOP counterparts he is a “victim” of the deep state.
“I may be a canceled man in some corners,” began his tweet. “I may even be a wanted man by the Deep State,” Gaetz rambled on Twitter. “But I hear the millions of Americans who feel forgotten, canceled, ignored, marginalized and targeted.”
Gaetz joins a chorus of Republicans who are falsely acting like right-wing Americans are being trampled on. The FBI has apparently turned his co-conspirator Mr. Greenberg and it is expected that he will fully cooperate in the sex trafficking investigation.
