Mariah Carey knows family drama like nobody else. According to a new lawsuit filed in Manhattan, Mariah Carey ‘s brother has filed papers against her for the sensational claims she made in her memoir (“The Meaning of Mariah Carey.”)
The memoir was the first time in full spectrum that Carey addressed her reported abusive childhood at the hands of her family; her brother, her sister, and many involved in her younger years. Morgan Carey claims in the documents that Carey herself did not consult with her brother and the claims are (‘nothing more than an attempt to smear two black men.’)
Morgan, though, does not address the claims that his own sister experienced violence during their childhood instead ignoring that fact entirely. It is unclear where Carey herself stands with the latest lawsuit against her, although it is understood that she has counsel already. USA TODAY reports that Morgan maintains it is nothing more than Mariah trying to vilify a Black man.
