Kylie Jenner makes it clear her post was not about asking her fans for money

Kylie Jenner has made it abundantly clear that a post asking for donations to a GoFundMe for her (“makeup artist”) was in fact not about asking but rather amplifying the post. According to Us Magazine, Jenner confirmed on Instagram that she did in fact donate to the cause though wasn’t sure how it got so twisted.

Hint: The internet got a hold of it.

Originally Jenner had posted a link to a GoFundMe for a makeup artist known by the name . Though in her follow-up post, Jenner confirmed that she has not had a personal relationship with the artist in quite some time although did donate herself. She also revealed in the same post that she had zero intentions of asking others for money but because there wasn’t a personal relationship — she did what she thought was appropriate and bowed out.

“After learning in more detail about the accident it compelled me to visit his gofundme which was set at 10K. they had already raised 6K so I put in 5K to reach their original goal and thought I’d post on my stories to gain more awareness if anyone also felt compelled to share or donate. I don’t know how all of this got so twisted but his family has reached out through Ariel and are very appreciative of all the donations, prayers and love towards Sam.”
