The woman accused of stealing Pelosi ‘s laptop in a grand scheme claims she does not have it

Riley June Williams the far-right alleged thief who allegedly stole Nancy Pelosi ‘s laptop from the Capitol has denied having said laptop. In an FBI file compliled by federal agents, the U.S first became aware of William’s after an ex-lover reportedly came forward to authorities revealing William’s full identity.

Buzzfeed News reports that the laptop as of this time is actually still missing and it is unclear what it was actually used for. Lawyers for the far-right thief claim that despite reports and numerous allegations they’re all made up by way of a vengeful ex-lover.

William ‘s public defender made it clear in a hearing this week that his client did not have the laptop and searches proved such.

“In the allegation of the theft of the computer, she’s charged with aiding and abetting, not the actual theft itself,” Kramer said during the hearing. “In fact, [law enforcement] searched everywhere, and she does not have the computer. They searched the car and the house.”
