Home where Lizzie Borden offed her parents with an ax is now up for sale

The infamous site of one of the most gruesome female-committed murders ever is up for sale. The home of what once belonged to the Borden Family (think: Lizzie Borden) is up for sale but they’re struggling to find a buyer. Reports show that the home in recent years has been turned into a museum; with intellectual property rights, and the whole razzle dazzle to go along with it.

Thus a problem emerged because despite heavy tourism prior to the pandemic a buyer wasn’t found. It’s anybody’s guess as to why nobody wants the home — but we’d imagine it is because it is believed to be the same place where Borden ax-murdered her own parents and then got away with it in a sensational trial during that century.

The Boston Globe reports that a 2nd home once owned by the disgraced New Englander is also up for sale but also struggling to find a buyer like the first one.
