Here are the glorious actions #JoeBiden plans to take on Day One of his Presidency

Joe Biden is scheduled to become the next President of the United States in no less than an hour or so EST. In this guide — we’ll go over some of the hot button moves he reportedly plans to take within hours of being sworn in.

  1. Joe Biden plans to rejoin the World Health Organisation

According to Joe Biden ‘s incoming plan and team, the newly minted President reportedly plans to rejoin both the Paris Accord and the World Health Organisation. Both organisations despite how controversial the latter may be — are of the utmost importance in the world we now live in. Next to the pandemic and climate change — the world has more crises than it probably should have.

2. He also plans to rollback Trump ‘s racist Muslim ban

The incoming administration confirmed that among the many exec orders Biden plans to sign — among the first will be a reversal of the ban. The Muslim ban was unconstitutionally put in place by Trump for no reason that made any type of logical sense. The ban targeted Muslim people presumably out of what was Trump ‘s hatred for non-white people.

3. He is also seeking a $1trillion package from Congress to boost the economy

In that package he is indeed seeking things like an additional $1400 check to Americans. That check would add on to the previous $600 sent out to Americans earlier this month to make a total of $2,000. Despite GOP efforts to make it sound like Biden may have lied, the Democrats have always argued for $2,000 they could only get $600 to start. The $1,400 will make the $2,000 they have always fought for.

4. The Education Department will be asked to push back loan payments until 30 September

The package also introduces an extended loan-deferment for student loan borrowers. Borrowers if Biden gets his way would have until September to get ready to make payments. All payments would remain paused as would interest until that time.

5. The national emergency over that border wall is no more.

In a move likely to be greeted with a sigh of relief, Biden is poised to end construction on Trump ‘s border wall and will also end the national emergency that came with it effective immediately.
