Americans will have to wait just a little longer than normal to start filing their taxes

Early bird Americans looking to get the ucmbersome task that is their taxes out of the way will have to wait just a little longer. According to CNBC, the Internal Revenue Service announced on Friday that people will now be able to start filing on 12 February. The move comes amid attempts to ensure everybody gets their stimulus checks; help with implementing the tax code changes from December, and more.

The deadline however that is 15 April will remain the same for most filers.
