Virgin Galactic is officially sending people to space via tourism

Virgin Galactic ‘s new space tourism service is officially open for business. Although the weather might suspend the first initial launch, VG is determined to make the launch happen. According to the company, the launch will take place from the Spaceport area in New Mexico.

Officials confirmed that they’re hoping to test out the flight; the seating area, and ensure all safety measures are in tact and in place before next year. Next year, er, would mark the first time ordinary humans have ever gone into space. While pricey, Virgin Galactics ‘s $250,000 tickets are expected to be game changers for those that go get to go.

The company says high level winds and turbulence are expected throughout the travel attempt.
