The teen who knowingly violated COVID-19 laws in the Cayman Islands has of course had her privilege exercised

To be white and American surely lends credence to break the law overseas and then apparently getting the government to intervene to stop your sentence. According to a Cayman newspaper, Skylar Mack, 18, who knowingly broke COVID/Quarantine rules in the tropical island will now only serve half of her sentence rather than the entire one.

The move comes after Mack ‘s American grandmother reportedly sent the Trump Administration a letter claiming that Mack ‘s rights were being violated and that the punishment didn’t fit the crime. Ah yes, to go to a foreign country and then tell them how to run their country and whether or nor their laws are just vs unjust.
