And frankly they look pretty amusing. According to Zoox (which is weirdly owned by Amazon which nobody apparently remembered that), the future of cabbies might look significantly different in the very near future. The company’s take on the cabbie completely reimagines a cabbie with: no driver, no driver seat, no steering wheel, or anything.
This week they unveiled their first prototype that they hope to have on the streets in the next few years. It can be seen in the photo below.
