Startling complaint reveals what led to a little boy being left at a Mississippi Goodwill store and it is terrifying

. A federal complaint in the case has reportedly emerged that has revealed lurid details of what many already suspected.

According to the complaint, Jeffrey Fitzgerald did indeed attempt to take Antoinette Smith to Nashville for purposes of selling her into prostitution. That was not known to Smith when she allegedly agreed to go with Fitzgerald after the man conned her into leaving her little boy with a so-called babysister. A babysitter identified as Turliscea Turner who was in fact no a babysitter per the complaint but instead an accomplice in the abduction.

It only gets hairier from this point on. Authorities allege that Fitzgerald masterminded the crime while originally in Memphis but it is unknown as to how or why he targeted Smith and her son. Smith told multiple news outlets that had she known Turner was not a babysitter she would’ve never left her son with her. In fact, investigators were able to confirm just that upon further investigation.

After Smith had allegedly denied Fitzgerald after his demands to agree to be sold into prostitution, she was left in Nashville and by Monday, Fitzgerald had went to retrieve the boy from Memphis alongwith Turner and fled. From there, they traveled to Mississippi where they stopped at a gas station and then the infamous Goodwill Store in question. Both Turner and Fitzgerald have been arrested on some of the most bizarre charges to make headlines this year. If convicted (which is inevitable) both face upwards of 20 years to life in federal prison and $250,000 in fines.
