Editors Note: For obvious reasons we cannot reveal the identity of the author of this article given that we were able to verify that they are indeed close with the child of a U.S Senator. Names have been redacted from this guest-article to prevent accidental identification of the Senator involved or the party who revealed this wild story.

This column is part of our internal poll we took of our users in which we asked them to share the wildest stories they’ve experienced throughout the end of 2019 (when the virus took hold) until now.

Having grown up in Washington D.C, I have had my fair share of political associations and sidekicks simply for having gone to the same schools as other people. Now 28 I work as a political operative of sorts for the Republican Party of the United States and am best friends with the child of a U.S Senator. This past year has been eccentric to say the least after the discovery that and accidental I might add that my best friend’s Dad is gay.

A gay man who is openly married to a woman that has been obviously in an arranged marriage for decades for the purpose of his political image. A fact I learned the hard way is very real while working in politics because the fringe-right often has a disdain for anything that isn’t anything white and straight. A disdain so strong that some of these men in politics are very much homosexual but putting on an Academy Award worthy front for the world to see. A front that exists for nothing more than to appease their donors; the dark powers that actually run politics, and of course their bases.

This is my wild story of 2020 because as it stands I actually work for the same Senator that is in the closet and had no idea. It’s something I decided to write about when these columns opened up again because of the hypocrisy at play with this very Senator.

Due to the hypocrisy and the like I obviously can’t directly say who the Senator is. Though I will say some pretty straightforward things that I hope change in the future in politics especially considering these same people are the power brokers who design this country. This Senator openly campaigns against gay-people; often unprovoked, and mercilessly.

I have been on the campaign trail with him during such only to discover that he behind the scenes is paying these very same men for relations off the grid. It isn’t necessarily a new thing in politics by any means but it needs to come to a full stop. Gay people or those on the spectrum are not expendable items that can be tossed aside when no longer needed or when they don’t fit political agendas.

That doesn’t stop him from going off the grid and paying obscene hourly rates for male escorts and Onlyfans performers some of which he has hosted in his home while his wife is away. He’s got receipts for months of casual hookups with young and primed men of varying ages that he has met off the grid. Hotel rooms; bathhouses, using anonymous online profiles and more. These Senators are not at all dumb when it comes to social media.

It’s kind of like a backwards riddle here except the riddle is him because nobody understands why he hasn’t come out of the closet considering nobody cares. There are plenty of LGBTQIA+ people in D.C whom are fairly out but not completely out for the sake of decorum in the Capital.
