Astronmers have discovered “highways” in Space, here’s why that’s a big deal

We’re kicking off this weekend with this week’s latest find in outerspace, er, which leads the list of recent finds that leads some to believe that there may be more to outerspace than meets the eye. According to a new research paper released Saturday, researchers have found what they’ve dubbed “superhighways” somewhere in the Universe above us.

Yes that means literal “space highways” similar to say the autobahn down here on planet earth. The “highways” appear to be some sort of gravtional pull area that would allow for trave to go much quicker than previously known. The dynamics now appear to make it possible that interstellar travel could go forth within a decae or two compared to the previously thought thousands of years.

The news comes amid a wild year of discoveries in space and via astronomers. Some of these discoveries have ranged from alleged signs of life; to gases that are only produced by some versions of life forms, and more.
