Tuesday marked the beginning of the U.K ‘s mass vaccination programme but not without much discussion among citizens. Meanwhile in the U.S, American citizens and their families are hoping for a glimmer of hope amid reports that the government once again failed them. Reports emerged over the weekend that the U.S government failed to procure enough COVID-19 vaccination doses leaving hundreds of millions of Americans on the brink until later.
Pfizer confirmed to multiple outlets on Monday that the U.S would be required to wait until about June 2021 for more doses. On the original front, America will get about 100m of the coveted vaccine however the doses will be heavily rationed.
