A little read thing often called the fine print has caught some off guard after a bizarre revelation. According to reports, Trump ‘s apparent newly formed PAC and his re-election campaign are privately keeping donations under $8,000 for themselves and not using them for their intended purposes.
A Reuters.com review of quite literally the legal “mumbo jumbo” often known as the fine print revealed that nothing of the funds actually goes to Trump ‘s so called defense fund. Instead, part goes to his newly formed PAC and part weirdly enough goes to the RNC. Neither of these things appears to have been disclosed in the fine print of the website itself.
As the website revealed, monies don’t actually go to Trump ‘s so called “Save America” defense fund until they reach at least $5,000 or more (the legal benchmark it appears.)
According to the FEC, both the PAC and the RNC actually have pretty broad authority of what to do with the funds. Despite the fact that Trump is openly misleading his donors, it appears hundreds if not thousands of dollars already has flowed into both parties.
