Derek Chauvin released from prison, allowed to move out of state “over safety concerns.”

Killer cop Derek Chauvin is back in the news. According to reports, Derek Chauvin has been released from a maximum security prison in Minneapolis as he awaits trial on murder charges. Per several reports, a judge granted his release and even allowed him to relocate out of state in an effort to protect his safety amid alleged concerns for said safety.

Advocates are crying foul because the same treatment usually is almost never afforded to prisoners of colour or those who may be Black. The judge’s ruling notes that he must relocate to one of the adjoining states and must establish a working cellphone.
