On the Coronavirus front — there’s still so much that the world doesn’t quite know about the virus this next bit is actually quite shocking. According to authorities in Nevada, an unnamed 25-year-old man is one of the first known people to be double-infected with the virus and it be worse the second time around.
His story is most certainly one we should all be paying attention alongside. Authorities say that the man from Washoe County, Nevada tested positive firstly for the virus on 18 April of this year. Whilst then in isolation, he managed to “rid” the virus and twice come back negative for it after having properly isolated and socially distanced from others.
The most interesting part about his story is that he tested positive for the Coronavirus again no less than 48 days later. At that time, per reports, he was told to go to the hospital where he received the test and was immediately placed on life-saving oxygen support. He is now known as only the 5th person worldwide to be double-infected with the Coronavirus both times with different strains or mutations of the Coronavirus.
