WASHINGTON —— Devastating news in Washington this evening as it has been confirmed that liberal Supreme Court Justice Ruth Bader Ginsburg has died. According to a press release from the court, Ginsburg died surrounded by her family and loved ones at home due to complications from cancer.
Ginsburg ‘s death brings a devastating reality to Washington that the GOP had long hoped for. Now with just weeks to go before the November election, it is all but certain that Senate Republicans will attempt to fill her seat in the event that Trump loses the election.
With her passing —- the Supreme Court if granted another conservative judge would be given the opportunity to overturn almost every major landmark decision regarding human rights of the past 25 years or more. Conservatives have long made it obvious that they: hate women’s rights; gender equality, the right to choose, the right to have sex, gay rights (etc), and most other things that don’t fall into line with their religion.
