Donald Trump knows no bounds to his apparent political corruption. According to memorandums shared this week, the Trump Administration apparently has issued a series of federal orders in a questionable effort to (“defund”) at least four cities. It’s worth nothing that those cities named are actually cities where Trump is largely not seen in a favorable light.
Per the memos, Trump wants to defund NYC; Seattle, Portland, and Washington D.C. The problem with those memos is that Trump failed to actually mention that the so-called anarchy he says fed tax dollars can’t support is actually supporting the same so-called anarchy being committed by his white supporters.
“My Administration will not allow Federal tax dollars to fund cities that allow themselves to deteriorate into lawless zones,” Trump says in the memo.
“To ensure that Federal funds are neither unduly wasted nor spent in a manner that directly violates our Government’s promise to protect life, liberty, and property, it is imperative that the Federal Government review the use of Federal funds by jurisdictions that permit anarchy, violence, and destruction in America’s cities.”
