The Gulf Coast is bracing for a deadly one-two punch thanks to these two storms

The Gulf Coast typically gets the initial brunt of any storm that hits the east coast of America.

This time it is no different.

Weather watchers over the weekend may have noticed that storms Marco and Laura in America are headed for the Gulf Coast according to the National Weather Service. According to the National Hurricane Centre, both storms are preparing to hit hurricane status and appear to be ready to hit the coast at the same time.

ALERT: There is an active hurricane warning between Morgan City, south of Baton Rouge in Louisiana, and the mouth of the Pearl River on the border between Louisiana and Mississippi.
