RNC speaker removed from event after tweeting anti-semitic conspiracy theory

The RNC is only two days into the event but it most certainly is one for the books. No sooner than night 2 kicked off, Mary Ann Mendoza (one of the lesser than known speakers) was reportedly booted from the programme all together.

According to reports, Mendoza was booted after she tweeted a series of anti-semitic conspiracy theories on her verified Twitter profile. Mendoza has since denied she supports or believes the theory in any format.

“I retweeted a very long thread earlier without reading every post within the thread. My apologies for not paying attention to the intent of the whole message. That does not reflect my feelings or personal thoughts whatsoever.”

CNN reports that Mendoza was also found to have been a board member of none other than the We Build The Wall campaign. That campaign saw at least three members of its team including Steve Bannon charged with numerous federal charges.
