Report: Chinese man first known person to get different strains of COVID, just weeks apart

A 33-year-old IT worker in Hong Kong is the first known person to be re-infected with the Coronavirus. According to the New York Times, the unidentified man is the first to actually have two different forms of Coronavirus strains (that’s not one but two.)

STAT News further explains that this is the first time that researchers have been able to fully confirm through sequencing that the viruses didn’t match. Reports say that the man isn’t experiencing symptoms, however, it ay be too early to tell just how this will end.
