A deep dive into the stunning scam perpetrated by Steve Bannon; Brian Kolfage and more

The breathtaking scam perpetrated by Steve Bannon; Kolfage, and at least two others is in fact one of the largest scams most probably have seen in a while. Bannon along with his co-conspirators were arrested on Thursday (Bannon himself was notably arrested on a super yacht outside of CT.)

Now more details are surfacing in just how far they took the apparent scam. According to prosecutors in New York, the group allegedly used their “We Build The Wall” fundraising campaign to siphon millions of dollars from would-be donors and unsuspecting Trump supporters. It’s worth noting that the case hasn’t even really started and Donald Trump is already denying knowing anything about it.

Kolfage and his wife are pictured. She’s apparently a Tik Tok Star.

So let’s begin.

Documents revealed that Kolfage was first placed under suspicious watch roughly last Fall. GoFundMe officials at the time believed under reasonable suspicion that the campaign he started on their platform wasn’t doing as it was supposed to do. As a result, Kolfage was told to donate the enormous some of money to a legitimate charity or refund it all.

But the problem is: he didn’t do that. As a result of the warning from GoFundMe, Kolfage and his group are believed to have then embarked on an even wider-scam by using fake charities and non-profits to launder the already stolen money. Prosecutors allege at that point that Bannon got involved and used one of his own non-profits to help siphon the money that eventually went back to Kolfage and Bannon ‘s own pockets.

If convicted, those involved including Bannon face up to at least 40 years in federal prison.
