Police: Louisiana woman shot her boyfriend because he refused to argue with her

Not a joke here guys.

A Lousiana woman identified as Janelisha Lawrence is the subject of a manhunt this weekend after reportedly having shot her boyfriend over the fact he wouldn’t argue with her yesterday morning. According to police, a warrant for her arrest has been issued and it may become an even further investigation considering the man is in critical condition.

Police say the shooting occurred around 0730 yesterday morning in the Shreveport area of Louisiana. Weirdly enough, police learned that the man apparently refused to argue with her because she had tried to argue over non-existent issues.

As a result — she shot him because she was more interested in arguing.

Police reports show that the man suffered critical wounds to the body due to the gunshot and remains at the local hospital listed in critical condition. He has not been publicly identified.

Authorities do believe that the two were estranged and he had tried to leave her due to unspecified issues with their relationship. According to investigators, she has been charged with attempted 2nd degree murder.
