ABC has cancelled ‘Strahan, Sara & Keke’

Bad news for morning T.V fans. According to numerous reports this week, ABC’s network has cancelled the aforementioned talk-show-ish show. The YBFreports that the network made the abrupt decision amid viewership numbers and due to the Coronavirus.

Page Six is also reporting that the three are actually headed to GMA 3 but how exactly remains unknown.

An insider explained, “’Strahan, Sara and Keke’ is put on hiatus and it doesn’t look like it’s going to come off.” Its staffers will work on “GMA 3,” with producers from “ABC News Live,” the digital stream helmed by McKenzie.

“Everyone is still getting paid. There’s space for everyone. They’re actively in contact … They’re figuring out what the future will look like,” a source said.

Another insider concluded: “It’s unfortunate, but the hope is that they’ll be a big part of [‘GMA 3’] down the road,” and added, “Everyone was feeling good about their show. It was nominated for three Daytime Emmys. It finally found its rhythm. Ratings were stabilized and were starting to tick up when they went off air.”
