In an interview that aired on Monday, this week ‘s top story actually involves Donald Trump and the claim of a 2nd stimulus check. According to that interview, Trump now claims that cash-strapped American workers will indeed get a 2nd check “and the new bill will be very generous.”
‘We will be doing another stimulus package. It’ll be very good. It’ll be very generous,’ Trump told Scripps Networks.
We had this going better than anybody’s ever seen before, we had the best economy we’ve ever had, and then we had the virus come in from China and now we’re rebuilding it again,’ he also added during the interview according to ABC.
The interview came amid numerous gaffes by Trump in the past week including one gaffe that saw him claim he intentionally gave the order to slow Coronavirus testing.
