More details in the murder of Ahmaud Arbery have surfaced and they’re chilling

The murder of Ahmaud Arbery has grabbed headlines around the world as white supremacy is once again the spotlight. Just 2 days after it was confirmed that his killers would face arrest, new details in the terrifying encounter have emerged.

  • Gregory McMichael, 64, and Travis McMichael, 34 were led out of their home in Brunswick GA by heavily armed officers on Thursday evening shortly after 7:40 pm local time.
  • It has now emerged that McMichael, who is an ex-cop, reportedly attempted to previously investigate Arbery for reasons that are still quite unclear.
  • Police have identified William Bryan as the man who filmed the video.
  • At a press conference Friday, cops said ‘Don’t know yet – we’ll go wherever the evidence takes us. If there is probable cause for arrest, we’ll do it. If there isn’t, we won’t,’ said Director Vic Reynolds, adding that Bryan’s video of the fatal confrontation, which took place on February 23, was a key piece of evidence.

According to Yahoo, the family of Arbery initially was told that he was shot by a homeowner during an attempted home invasion. It took the reported release of the leaked video to prove that was a literal lie, which sparked the investigation by the Georgia Bureau of Investigations.

In fact, the Glynn County Police Department confirmed to multiple outlets this weekend that they had no record of any home invasions in the neighborhood from Jan 1st up through 23 Feb.
