LA has dramatically extended its lockdown by at least three months

LA won’t even come close to returning to a normal life until at least August.

This week LA County Health Director Barbara Ferrer announced that the county would remain essentially closed until the Fall. According to Ferrer, Los Angeles has seen a rise in both deaths and cases across the board despite declines in other parts of the state. That means for Los Angelinos that stay-at-home orders will remains throughout the summer, although there will be minor relaxations as time goes on.

On Wednesday, beaches officially reopened for surfing; exercising, running, walking, and the like but sunbathing remains banned.

Parks, hiking trails and golf shops reopened Saturday in LA and beaches will reopen for exercise Wednesday, but sunbathing is banned.
