Here’s how to advertise in our newspaper

Hello everyone,

This is a friendly article on how to advertise in our newspaper/blog. As a news agency, we actually have more than one website. Advertising in this newspaper has been something we have always allowed with a few restrictions in place to prevent the accidental advertising of an otherwise illegal service or product.

Here are some common questions we get on an almost daily basis, hopefully this clears up some answers.

  1. Do you accept sponsored posts?

Yes we indeed accept sponsored posts all kinds (with the exception of medication related articles.) Due to a ruling by the Advertising Standards Authority of the United Kingdom, we are required to abide by a set of rules and regulations due to the size of our newspaper online.

2. Do you accept gambling articles?

Yes we do as long as they’re about legal gambling games/tactics.

3. Do you accept links?

Yes, we accept links of various kinds as long as they have been scanned for malware and otherwise are considered safe. We take our visitors privacy and security very seriously and reserve the right to remove links that may have been found to contain phishy content/malware.

4. Do you require the sponsored tag?

If we are directly promoting a product in itself then yes. For article placement, generally no. For product placements that requires a different discussion and the pricing may be different. For those types of placements, we are legally required to disclose the sponsored tag.

5. What is your going rate?

We have clients that have packages that meet their needs that begin at $40 and go as high as $10,000. We are open to work with clients based on a reasonable budget that seems fair to us and affordable for said client. Generally orders that contain price tags smaller than $20 must be ordered in sets of 2-3.

6. Are articles indefinite?

Unless we receive a notice from the client to remove them they are indefinite. However, if for whatever reason we receive a DMCA complaint about an article that has been placed on this website by an advertiser — we reserve the right to suspend the article and refuse a refund. Refunds will not be provided in that situation.
