Netanyahu ‘s moment in court is finally here as the first day of his criminal trial has wrapped. A clearly upset Netanyahu appeared at Jerusalem ‘s criminal court flanked by his usual political-posse, hoping in all possible sorts of hopes that his trial goes in his favour.
Netanyahu faces quite a few charges but most notably bribery, fraud and breach of trust. Alike his western counterparts, Netanyahu claims that the charges are widely “trumped” up and an effort to prevent him from obtaining public office again.
Benjamin ‘s case is reportedly expected to last months if not years. His lawyers on Sunday had attempted to ask for a delya in the trial, but that remains to be seen.
