According to reports, New York City will now begin storing dead bodies from the COVID-19 outbreak pandemic on actual freezer trucks. The move is apparently an effort by morgue officials and the city to free up space from the morgue, you know, since it’s like they’re treating humans like they’re redecorating or something.

In case it couldn’t get any weirder, the city is using the trucks because the dead can be stored up to a year in them. Officials reportedly hope that the move will allow for more time for funerals and such, er, but families can’t and aren’t even allowed to see COVID-19 patients at any time even after death.
