As shocking as that headline is it actually is not in the least bit surprising. A stunning Buzzfeed investigation found that Sherry Pie allegedly tricked at least 5+ different men into doing some pretty bizarre things for her while posing as an alleged casting director (none of which was true btw.)

For those not hip to Drag Race, we’re talking about Joey Gugliemelli.

So here’s what apparently happened and we have to note that some of the following information may not be suitable for all audiences.

Initially reported by Buzzfeed, a series of men came forth revealing that Joey weirdly posed as a casting director enticing them (under the pretence of a role) to do things for them usually apparently having done so by way of a video camera.

The investigation sparked Joey ‘s firing from Drag Race, but that wasn’t all that emerged.

“In light of recent developments and Sherry Pie’s statement, Sherry Pie has been disqualified from RuPaul’s Drag Race,” a spokesperson for VH1 and production company World of Wonder said in a statement to BuzzFeed News.

“Out of respect for the hard work of the other queens, VH1 will air the season as planned,” the spokesperson said. “Sherry will not appear in the grand finale scheduled to be filmed later this spring.”

Turns out — Joey tricked at least one of the young men into masturbating for him on video camera also under false promises of a role. That young man was apparently promised multiple casting meetings but grew suspicious when nothing happened as allegedly having been planned.

The investigation found that Joey posed as a director named Allison Mossie.

“It was a discussion of, ‘How do you think — when he smells, does that feel like a climax to him? When he ejaculates?’” one man recalled for Buzzfeed

“Being hungry and young and wanting to get a break, I continued to do whatever was needed for this casting,” he said.

Joey did not respond to requests for comment by publication time.
