Two people in FL have died from the Coronavirus + the latest

Turns out the East Coast now has even more confirmed deaths from the coronavirus. According to officials, two recorded deaths in the state of Florida have now taken place following patient’ complications from the virus.

Here’s the latest round-up of news on this topic:

  1. According to the CDC, there are roughly about 330 cases in the U.S as of this writing.
  2. The United States has now recorded 17 deaths in total.
  3. John Hopkins confirmed on Friday that more than 100,000 have been infected worldwide.
  4. One of the deaths in Florida was a previously unannounced case, that had previously been only a presumptive one. The other was a man older than 70 with underlying previous health conditions.
  5. Facebook is now banning ads selling medical masks, although nobody’s quite sure if they’re actually medically necessary or do much to prevent the virus.
