NY ‘s State of Emergency + What You Need To Know

New York right now pretty much reminds of me a really badly written FX movie in dire need of a new director but headed for total and complete chaos (and fast.) On Saturday, Cuomo issued a state of emergency declaration after even more cases were discovered in New York as a whole.

As of this writing, per CDC officials and the state itself, at least 93 recorded cases have been found within the area. A large majority of them are connected to a now infamous lawyer in Westchester County. At least 11 of those cases are within the confinements of New York City (including the first known having been a woman near the midtown area.)

The problem with New York is almost simultaneously that an emergency was declared — an Uber Driver in Queens took himself to the hospital declaring he wasn’t feeling well. According to reports, the man has now tested positive for the Coronavirus. He is the first known taxi driver to have tested positive.

An insurance associate on Lexington Avenue has also tested positive for the coronavirus, which then unravelled their workplace. According to local reports, that insurance company is now closed for cleaning and will not re-open until 12 March.

A Manhattan man in his 40 ‘s was discharged over the weekend and remains in isolation within the confinements of his home.
