MAHATTAN — Great news for people in New York City and New York State. According to the latest release from Governor Cuomo ‘s office, no New Yorker of any kind will be subjected to eviction proceedings for the foreseeable future (starting for the next 3 months and then reviewed at that point.)

Evictions were put on ice last week as the Coronavirus began to ravage much of New York. With a total of more than 7k cases in the state, New York is by far the most infected place in America. The announcement was made subsequent to the announcement that all New Yorkers beginning Sunday at midnight must be prepared to legally shelter-in-place.
