????: The latest on the coronavirus; Dartmouth’s confirmed cases, and more

This is an ???? broadcast article advising people of the latest information on the coronvirus from a variety of credible sources including the WHO and particularly the state of the New York.

First up, the total number of cases in New York has now jumped at least 7. A man in New Rochelle was among the first confirmed cases in New York, however, it looks like he has infected his family according to multiple reports. Members of his synagogue have now also been ordered to quarantine.

Next up, a business executive of sorts reportedly defied quarantine orders and visited a business event at the Tuck School of Business. That person and his colleague have now tested positive. If you’ve been to Tuck recently, you should probably self quarantine and get checked.

Important: If you were recently in attendance for services at the Young Israel Synagogue in New Rochelle — you are under quarantine until Sunday.

“We said for the past several weeks that with this coronavirus situation, you’re going to see continued spreading and that spreading is inevitable,” Cuomo said at a news conference at the state Capitol. 

“I said you’ll start to see community spread cases where you can’t track it back directly to one place or one visit, and I think that’s what we’re seeing today.”

And then there’s this — Seattle is preparing for a devastating blow to local businesses and economic activity. Local business owners have told multiple outlets that parts of the city have quite largely become a ghost town.

Next up — California has reported its first death, total cases now stand at 7, and now they’ve reported at least one death. As a result, a state of emergency has been declared in Los Angeles County.
