But many are wondering how thieves even managed to apparently get closed to the house let alone the backyard on Ecclestone ‘s street. The F1 heiress quite literally lives on a guarded block; her house is guarded, and their are checkpoints across the block that she lives on.
That apparently didn’t stop thieves from getting in via the backyard and stealing more than $66m worth of jewels; earrings, and other priceless gems and stones.
The Scotland Yard is now appealing to the public hoping that somebody or something saw the thieves enter the exclusive area. Ecclestone and her family had reportedly just jetted off out of town for Christmas when the robbery happened.
