Shattering LoveBScott.com ‘s “exclusive tea” reports

Because it’s a gossip blog, we’re not entirely surprised that they fabricate stories about celebrities (in the name of clicks and ad dollars) but then we have to remember that’s actually how most gossip blogs function. LoveBScott.com (founded by that Brandon person) has a long history of doing such — explicitly with Beyonce stories actually.

The latest report was debunked today by Beyonce ‘s own team (Link)

Let’s start recently though. Last night, Scott ‘s blog published an article claiming that Queen Bey is headed to a Las Vegas residency next year. First and foremost, we’d like to point out that we did the usual vetting and poking around was initially unable to find any singular source able to at least add credibility to the claim.

But we ran the story anyway to prove a point (we already knew that Beyonce ‘s team was going to come out and deny the story. That much was confirmed about 30 minutes after we saw the initial blog post.)

That point being that LoveBScott.com has pretty much tarnished its reputation as a reputable gossip blog.

I bring you two examples of misleading stories that were either never proven or flat out debunked by Queen Bey and her team all together.

On the left we have the most recent lie. On the right we have one of the sites’ most popular lies dating back to 2017. While we have learned that Beyonce did ineed preview the restaurant (and it is still rumoured that she may have made the purchase, although it was never actually confirmed) — BScott ‘s version of the story is inaccurate.

A quick Google search of Cat & Fiddle in Los Angeles turns up no confirmation or hint that it may be partially owned or operated by Beyonce or Jay-Z. In fact the closest verifiable article we could find on the 2017 story comes from the Los Angeles Journal.

The Cat & Fiddle restaurant is now actually the home of The “Spotted Pig”. Although Jay-Z owns stake in the NYC version of the Spotted Pig it doesn’t look like he owns stake of any kind in the West Coast version of the same restaurant.

However, I then found another article that indicated that Beyonce and Jay-Z never owned a stake in the would be location of The Spotted Pig. Instead, it appears since 2011 that Jay-Z has co-owned one of my favourite British hotspots in the village. The NYC location (per this article) has been co-owned by Jay-Z since at least 2011 according to reports.

And there we have it. Since 2017 (although Hearth and Hound now appears to be closed) the restaurant in question was never owned by Beyonce and Jay-Z.
