To the tune of nearly $13billion. In an alarming reveal this week, Russian President Vladamir Putin confirmed to RT.com that arms sales in the region are up to $13billion over the last fiscal year.

According to RT, the figure is far higher than expected even given the idea that U.S officials and other countries are attempting to pressure Russian counterparts to stop selling and buying arms from Moscow.
